The Owl is a unique music venue in Prospect Lefferts, Brooklyn, NY. This 10-year old spot is home of a vibrant group of young (and not so young) musicians who are pushing the edges of songwriting. Curated and run with great care and love, this is a place that has given me (and many others) a great deal of pleasure. The Owl will be closing at the end of the year, and I’m spending as much time as I can there, hoping to create a portrait of a place and of the people who make it special.
